TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE

1. General provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the online store kairiene.com (hereinafter – the Store) and the purchase of goods (abstract paintings).

1.2. The Store is operated by:
Živilė Kairienė, operating under an individual activity certificate No. 1400270 (hereinafter – the Seller).

1.4. By placing an order in the Store, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1.5. The Seller reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be published on the website.

2. Personal data protection

2.1. Buyers’ personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Lithuanian legislation.

2.2. Personal data provided by the Buyer is used only for:

processing orders
arranging delivery
issuing invoices
communicating with the customer.

3. Ordering goods and conclusion of the purchase agreement

3.1. Orders can be placed through the online store kairiene.com.

3.2. The purchase agreement is considered concluded once the Buyer completes payment for the order.

3.3. Each painting sold in the Store is an original and unique artwork, therefore once a piece is sold, an identical artwork will not be available again.

3.4. The Seller makes every effort to ensure that information presented on the website is accurate. However, slight variations (for example, color tones) may occur due to different screen settings.

4. Prices and payment

4.1. All prices in the Store are indicated in euros (€).

4.2. The Seller operates under individual activity certificate No. 1400270 and is not registered as a VAT payer, unless otherwise stated.

4.3. Payments can be made using the following methods:

online banking via Paysera
credit or debit card via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
bank transfer based on a proforma invoice.

4.4. Orders are processed only after payment confirmation has been received.

5. Delivery

5.1. Paintings are delivered within Lithuania and shipped to European and other international destinations.

5.2. Delivery terms and conditions are provided on the Shipping Information page on kairiene.com.

5.3. Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address, package size, and shipping method and are displayed during checkout.

5.4. Paintings are shipped using reliable courier services.

5.5. All artworks are carefully packaged and insured during transportation.

6. Returns

6.1. In accordance with Article 6.228¹ of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from a distance purchase agreement within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the goods.

6.2. To exercise this right, the Buyer must inform the Seller by email:

6.3. Returned goods must be:

unused
undamaged
in original condition
properly packaged.

6.4. If the return is not due to a defect, the Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

6.5. After receiving and inspecting the returned item, the refund will be issued within 14 days.

7. Quality assurance

7.1. All paintings sold in the Store are original artworks created by the artist Živilė Kairienė.

7.2. Each artwork is carefully prepared and securely packaged before shipment.

7.3. If the shipment arrives damaged, the Buyer must immediately contact the Seller at info@kairiene.com.

8. Liability

8.1. The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate and complete contact information.

8.2. The Seller is not responsible for delays or damages caused by third parties (for example courier services).

8.3. The color tones of paintings may slightly differ from what is displayed on digital screens due to technical display settings.

9. Intellectual property

9.1. All artworks, images, texts, design elements and other content published on the website belong to Živilė Kairienė.

9.2. Without written permission it is prohibited to:

copy or republish website content
reproduce or distribute artworks
use any material for commercial purposes.

10. Final provisions

10.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions made through kairiene.com.

10.2. Any disputes should first be resolved through negotiation.

10.3. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be settled in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania according to the Seller’s registered activity location.

11. Cookies

11.1. The website uses necessary and optional cookies for functionality, statistics and marketing purposes.
